We have an exciting opportunity to join our Academic Skills team contributing to the ongoing enhancements of our services supporting our research community and digital access to our resources. You should have experience of supporting scholarly research publishing via an institutional repository, and managing discovery and access to library resources via a discovery service and library management system.  You will be working within a well-embedded team and collaboratively with colleagues within learning, teaching and research, as well as professional services, across the University, to provide responsive services to enhance the student experience. This will include delivery of teaching, training and support, both online and face-to-face within the areas of research publishing and resource discovery.

We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic attitude that can demonstrate a creative and innovative approach within the role, and can illustrate a knowledge of future developments and challenges in scholarly publishing and resource discovery. You will have a postgraduate qualification or equivalent in either Library and Information or an appropriate discipline. You will be self-motivated to work on your own and have extensive experience and understanding of issues relating to library technologies such as library management systems, institutional repositories, digitisation, e-resource access etc.
