We are seeking an experienced and committed administrator for a full-time role.

As the School Administrator for the School of Creative Arts and Engineering you will be the first point of contact in the provision of a confidential, professional support service to approximately 200 staff.  

You will effectively co-ordinate and maintain records and documentation relating to staff and stakeholders, together with undertaking general administrative duties to support the work of the School which includes the following departments; Engineering and Design, Humanities and The Arts and the School Management Team.

The role is varied and you will be required to demonstrate a diverse range of skills including excellent workload prioritisation, interpersonal sensitivity, a strong awareness of confidentiality and attention to detail. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, should have a willingness to learn new processes and have an enthusiastic and positive approach to work.Strong IT skills and experience of working with Microsoft Office applications is essential for this role. 

You will report to the PA to the Dean and will work as part of the School admin team as well as working closely with the Dean’s management team.

A professional approach and the ability to be an effective team player are also essential for this post.
