Recruitment Events Officer (maternity cover)

Secondment opportunity to join the Student Recruitment, Admissions and Partnerships Team to deliver the portfolio of on-campus and off-campus events to drive undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment.   

The role will be an 8-month secondment opportunity to support the University in best practice event management to ensure consistency of brand delivery.

Main activities include:

To plan, organise and deliver both the annual cross-university recruitment events and the annual schools and colleges calendar of events and general ad hoc recruitment events, which include:

  • Open Days
  • Staffordshire UCAS Exhibition
  • Applicant Days (Offer Holder Days).
  • External Postgraduate Fairs
  • Postgraduate University Events
  • UCAS Conventions
  • Big Bang
  • Campus visits
  • Teachers and Advisers Events
  • Residentials

To plan, organise and deliver outreach events such as:

•             Children’s University (to include graduation)

To undertake the operational delivery of events for the Communities Engagement Manager including set-up and dismantling, timetabling co-ordination, student ambassador selection and training, risk assessments and health and safety.
