About the role 

Staffordshire University are looking for an innovative Admissions Manager to join the Student Recruitment, Admissions & Partnerships service.

Working with the Head of Admissions and in close collaboration with the Associate Deans (Recruitment), the Student Recruitment, Admissions & Partnerships SMT and academic colleagues across the University, the post holder will be responsible for overseeing the admissions function across the undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio for UK and EU applicants.

The post holder will be responsible for an experienced admissions team and will be expected to lead and develop them to retain their excellent service standards and ensure they are well equipped to meet the needs of an effective admissions service in an evolving sector.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in higher education within admissions or student recruitment and will have a detailed working knowledge of admissions processes (including UCAS processes), the wider higher education landscape along with experience of working in complex data systems, such as SITS.  They will also have a track record of reviewing processes and procedures with an enquiring mind and have line management experience.
