During your apprenticeship and beyond, you’ll be supported by senior and experienced practitioners, who will help, guide and more importantly give you access to new experiences, so that you can really get the most out of putting theory into practice.

We are very proud of our nursery at the university, especially as the nursery team have ensured that we are rated as outstanding by Ofsted, ensuring that our little people are in the safest of hands.

What you need to be successful in the role:

  • The ambition to work within an outstanding Early Years setting

  • The dedication and a commitment to complete the Apprenticeship and receive your recognised qualification

  • Be inspired by young minds

  • Not frightened by helping out with grazed knees or bumps

  • Stamina to play all day with our children, we are open from 8am until 6pm

  • Caring, responsive with a willingness to get involved

  • A great story telling voice and willing to sing

  • Gain a recognised qualification - Level 3 Early Years Educator through Stoke on Trent College
