About the role 

 As part of our regional role as an anchor institution, Staffordshire University has secured funding from European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF) to lead and deliver the Staffordshire Advanced Manufacturing, Prototyping and Innovation Demonstrator programme.  Over the three-year programme fifty partnerships will be delivered in the SSLEP area in collaboration with eligible Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. Each of the partnerships will last 12 weeks and will maximise impact and foster ongoing innovation work between partners that strengthens industry-research links. 

 We are looking for a Project and Portfolio Officer with experience of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) projects to support the Staffordshire Advanced Manufacturing, Prototyping and Innovation Demonstrator programme.  The role holder will ensure that realistic project plans are developed and maintained and that regular and accurate communication is provided to the project lead, partners and stakeholders; identify, assess and manage risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects and take appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances; ensure that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets and lead, co-ordinate and manage project activities, ensure compliance and meeting of the outputs profile and KPIs.

The Project and Portfolio Officer will work closely with and support the SAMPID Programme Manager. 

This role is part-financed by the European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF).
