We are currently recruiting a Head of Communications to lead and manage the external and internal communications strategy of the University. This position will be crucial to build effective relationships with a broad audience of stakeholders and strengthen the reputation of the University globally. We are seeking an experienced communication person that will enhance student recruitment, student retention, staff engagement and partnership collaboration. 

Working with the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will create impactful proactive campaigns to drive recruitment and reputation through local, regional and national, educational & business channels. With an in-depth understanding of PR management, you will also manage the public affairs agenda working with the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) and Executive to deliver enhanced engagement, influence and contribution to KPIs. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing communications within a complex organisation and significant experience of working directly to senior leadership teams and Chief Executives, providing constructive challenge and delivery of sensitive and confidential initiatives.
