Staffordshire University’s Marketing department is looking for a UX and Content Designer to fill a key role in the Web and Creative Services Team. Working collaboratively across Marketing and the wider university, you’ll be in the know about key messages for our students and other audiences and working with Web and Marketing colleagues to deliver effective and creative content.

You’ll help reshape the website in a strategic and user-centred way. This will involve understanding business needs, analysing user behaviour to help determine information architectures, and shaping content to ensure that both the business and user needs are met. You’ll also work with Designers to ensure that our website design is pushing the boundaries to achieve optimal user experience and branding.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • Knowledge of general web and user experience principles

  • Previous experience working with web content

  • Ability to thrive in an experimental digital marketing environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills
