Staffordshire University offers both undergraduate and post-graduate routes into primary teaching. We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic academic to contribute to teaching on both our BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS (3-7) (5-11) and PGCE Primary awards.

We have a vacancy for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in primary education. We’re looking for someone with high quality experience of learning and teaching primary aged children.  We want a candidate that is passionate about the development of the primary teaching workforce, and that will help us shape this new and exciting award.  We are seeking someone that has experience and ability to design a creative and inspiring undergraduate primary QTS course.

Qualified, or working towards, to Doctoral level in a relevant subject area, the successful candidate should also possess an appropriate teaching qualification.  Experience in leading Initial Teacher Education (ITE), school management and training would useful for this post.
