Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated candidates for a Lectureship/Senior Lectureship in Forensic Biology.  The post will involve you in joining our team delivering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in our Forensic Science, Forensic Investigations and Forensic Biology courses, as well as providing support to other routes as required.

We seek an individual with knowledge and experience of a range of core forensic biology concepts and skills, with particular expertise DNA profiling and Body Fluids (or related areas). You will have a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching, excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a team of academic staff. In addition, you will be research active and be able to continue to develop your research portfolio in Forensic Biology. 

Forensic Sciences are a constituent of the School of Law, Policing and Forensics, a unique combination of disciplines that are ideally placed to respond to today’s justice system.  You will work closely with colleagues from academic disciplines including law, criminology, sociology, and policing and with others across the wider university community.

We are looking for an individual with expertise in DNA profiling and Body Fluid evidence to contribute to our modules at both UG and PG level.
