Staffordshire University has recently opened a £4.4m Woodlands Day Nursery and Forest School.  

The nursery is located on our Leek Road Campus and is set by our University Nature Reserve, adjacent to woodlands, yet very close to the city centre, with excellent local public transport links and employee on-site parking. 

The new facilities is a sustainable place of early years learning with connections to the immediate landscape and nature reserve. Through the provision, children will get the opportunity to experience endless outdoor learning opportunities such as identifying nature, play-based learning, den building and forest art. We are looking to recruit to a nursery Early Years Practitioner
