About the role 

Staffordshire University are a seeking brilliant, friendly, ambitious and inspirational Administrator to join our Practice Learning Hub Administrative Team. The successful candidate would be working on a full-time basis and join an established administrative team based at our Centre of Excellence in Healthcare Education in Stafford. 

The role would include such activities as:

  • Acting as the first contact point in the provision of practice learning administration services.
  • Providing administrative support and coordination for all aspects of practice learning for specific courses across the School of Health, Science and Wellbeing.
  • Operating University systems to ensure data and records about students and their practice learning experiences are accurately maintained.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on practice learning administration matters.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in an administrative role, ideally with specific knowledge of practice learning activities, and will have a student-centred and positive attitude to work.   Effective teamwork, a strong level of digital skills and excellent communication skills are essential. 

The School of Health, Science and Wellbeing’s ambition is to ensure that we develop the safest practitioners in the sector, and patient safety and simulation-based education is a key strand of our work. We would particularly welcome applicants with a passion for enhancing the student experience.

Applicants must be educated to A-level standard or have equivalent experience, and evidence of progressive professional development is essential.
