About the role

With the recent launch of our new ambitious Strategic Plan, exciting change is happening here at Staffordshire University.  With our people at the forefront of our strategic ambitions, we’ve created a number of new opportunities within HR&OD and are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and committed HR professionals who have a proactive, collaborative approach and ability to thrive in a supportive environment.   

You’ll provide generalist HR advice and support throughout all of the employee lifecycle including recruitment and selection, employee relations casework and learning and development.  With the opportunity to work closely with HR&OD Business Partners in supporting cultural improvement and transformational change across the University, you’ll also take the lead on projects designed to improve the experience of our customers and streamline our processes.   

Qualified to CIPD level 5 (or working towards), you’ll have demonstrable experience of providing HR advice in a complex and fast paced environment.    Your experience of managing employee relations casework through to resolution, together with your ability to quickly build positive and highly effective working relationships at all levels across the University will ensure that you can achieve with impact.
