We have an exciting opening for a Team Leader in HR Administration and Recruitment.   As an experienced HR practitioner, this role provides an opportunity to lead and manage a broad range of HR administration and recruitment activities throughout the employee lifecycle.  With responsibility for managing a small team of HR Administrators, a key requirement of this role is to lead the review of the recruitment process and internal HR administration systems to ensure a streamlined and digital approach, therefore experience and expertise in process review and improvement in other, similar organisations is essential.   

As the lead for the recruitment process and system, you will have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice in all aspects of the recruitment process, including advertising, interviewing, contractual terms and conditions, and equality, diversity and inclusion. Compliance will be an essential element of this role therefore knowledge of the current UK Visas and Immigration Regulations and the Disclosure and Barring Service is essential. 

With highly proficient digital skills, you’ll be a great multi-tasker with the ability to manage a diverse workload and work effectively under pressure within a very busy environment, with minimum supervision.  An effective communicator, you’ll guide and influence managers, taking the initiative to resolve queries in providing effective and pragmatic advice and solutions.  We’re looking for someone who is a team player but also capable of working independently.  You must be able to build and maintain good working relationships with a range of stakeholders from across our academic and professional services areas.
