About the role

As part of our regional role as an anchor institution, Staffordshire University has secured funding from European Social Fund (ESF) to lead and deliver the Staffordshire E-skills & Entrepreneurship Gateway (SEGWay).   The project seeks to increase digital and entrepreneurial literacy amongst the Stoke-On-Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SSLEP) SME base and therefore improve business productivity and efficiency in line with Local Industrial Strategy priorities.  

We are looking for an Employer Partnerships Development Officer who will drive project’s CPD engagement provision with employers. You will proactively engage with businesses to develop pipeline of prospective workforce CPD learners, use effectively a Customer Relationship Management System and cross-refer and develop enquires to successful partnership within the wider Employer Partnerships Development Managers/ Officers team and across the Innovation Enterprise Zone business offer. You will use direct and indirect business development tools and methods, work in collaboration with B2B Marketing Officer, contribute and lead on organisation of events whether online or face to face, development of marketing and sales collaterals and case studies as required.
