Staffordshire University, Estates and Commercial Services department seek to appoint a Sports Fixtures Co-ordinator to ensure the smooth running of our 20+ sports teams.  

Responsible for fixture organisation, transport, officials and venue bookings, you will work in a vibrant and busy service with the team to deliver a number of larger scale events alongside our social sport program. You will liaise with other Universities, and work closely with the Sports Centre team to deliver an excellent experience for our students, staff and public users.  An excellent level of customer service is essential as you will be the the first point of contact for the department.  You will be directly involved in providing our students with the best sporting experience possible, through competitive sport, recreational sport and physical activity opportunities

As part of a team, you will focus on delivering key University objectives and adopt a proactive, customer focused approach in the delivery of services which support high quality environments for students, staff and other stakeholders.  The post holder will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to work to tight deadlines, experience in a fast paced administrative environment would be beneficial.

We are looking for an innovative individual with the skills, ambition and an insight to undertake this role and a key requirement will be the ability to work as part of the in-house team, ensuring the University delivers the very best customer services.

You will have the opportunity to shape and develop the sporting offer for our British Universities & Colleges Sports teams. Whilst a keen interest in sport would be a bonus it is not a must.
