Are you warm, friendly, genuine and enjoy customer interaction? If so, we are looking to recruit an Assistant hospitality and Events Coordinator at Staffordshire university.

You must be extremely flexible and a hold a valid UK driving licence.

Your key responsibilities will consist of:-

Assist all hospitality catering within the site, ensuring Staffordshire University standards are always met and exceeded. Ensure the ‘look and feel’ of all events are of the highest standards.

Be the face for all hospitality catering, communicating effectively and liaising confidently with customers.

Continuously develop the hospitality offer across the sites, driving the events and concepts and consistently working to improve the service.

Be available to work evenings and weekends as and when required by the business.

Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, appropriately presented and stocked 

Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and allergen advice in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients

Ensure all complaint handling is dealt with professionally and in line with procedures

Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures

Adhoc duties to support the catering team and other catering outlets and services
