Location:  Stoke campus
Salary:   £20,275 to £23,334 per annum
Tenure:  Full time permanent, working 37 hours per week

Working as part of the Estates and Commercial Services team, the primary role of this post is to provide PA and administrative support to the Director of Estates and Commercial Services, the Project Director for the Catalyst Building (for a fixed two year period) and the Service Management Team.  A proactive, flexible approach and being able to adapt to changing priorities will be essential. Providing PA and administrative support, the successful post holder will have excellent inter-personal skills, be highly organised and capable of working both independently and as part of a team, producing high quality personal assistant support for the Director and the Senior Management Team. 

Duties include extensive diary management, management of bring forward systems, high level meeting administration and handling complex queries from service users, students, colleagues and external organisations. You will need an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including Word and PowerPoint) as well as the ability to take accurate minutes, collating papers, agendas and following up actions.

Experience of dealing effectively with staff at all levels in an organisation and with external contacts as well as experience of providing administrative support in a construction or technical environment, or in the higher education sector is desirable.
