About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our Digital Transformation Team made up of experienced, professional Project Managers, Business Analysts and Test Analysts. This team enables the University’s Digital Vision through the delivery of our ambitious digital transformation portfolio.  The Digital Services department which is responsible for the University’s overall use of digital technology to achieve the strategic aims of the organisation.

The role of Associate Project Manager is our entry-level project management role which will work in collaboration with the Digital Transformation Team and wider service and Stakeholders across the University.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination of small project or sub-projects alone or within a small team, taking a project through each of the project stages, agreeing project approach, preparing realistic plans and tracking activity against schedule.  You will be expected to ensure that realistic project plans are developed and maintained, and that regular and accurate communication is provided to the project leads, partners and stakeholders; and will identify, assess and manage risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This is an exciting and varied role, which requires strong organisational skills and a flexible approach.
