About the role 

Staffordshire University are seeking to appoint a Registry Systems & Timetabling Manager to further strengthen the Registry team at Staffordshire University. The Registry Systems & Timetabling Manager post will report into the Head of Registry Operations and is part of the wider Registry Operations management team within the Registry. The postholder will also deputise for the Head of Registry Operations as required.

The Registry Systems & Timetabling Manager is responsible for ensuring that the student record system, SITS, is fully utilised within the University for the administration of student related data. In addition, the postholder also ensures that timetabling, curriculum set-up, fees and bursaries and room booking activities operate effectively and that both internal and external ‘data customer’ requirements are met. This includes maximising the use of SITS, Syllabus plus and Resource booker systems, to ensure that information maintained across these systems meet the requirements of student and curriculum administration, attendance, information delivery through to our Beacon App, and reporting and data analysis functions. 

The post holder will manage a team of approximately 10 staff (directly and indirectly). They will work closely with other managers and administrators across the Registry and a variety of staff across the wider University. The post holder will also engage in sector working groups and practitioner forums as required.
