We are looking for an inspirational Head of Library and Learning Services who will play a pivotal role in the delivery of Staffordshire University’s Strategic plans for enhancing student-facing support and learning services for our students.

Working closely with the Director of Library and Student Services you will lead your team in developing and delivering leading edge services for our students. Through the delivery of expert, strategic leadership you will lead the implementation of an ambitious plan for the service that will include the start of a new chapter in our history with the opening of our new Flagship Catalyst Building and Library on our Stoke-On-Trent Campus in 2021. 

As an expert in Library/Learning/Digital Services with significant experience in leading and managing services, preferably within Higher Education, you will inspire your team to deliver services that work for our students on their terms, whether they be studying on Campus, from home or on the other side of the world. You will work collaboratively and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and form strong working relationships within and outside the institution. You will be committed to the delivery of excellent customer service and ensure that the service is both innovative and transformative in every aspect of its operation.
