An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project and Portfolio officer to join the Project Delivery Team in Research, Innovation and Impact Services, helping to deliver a centralised professional support service to academic project leads who have secured external funding to deliver research, enterprise and Work Based Learning projects. 

The Project and Portfolio Officer will be responsible for the facilitation and delivery of projects working closely with academic project leads, ensuring that realistic project plans are developed and maintained and that regular and accurate communication is provided to the project lead, partners and stakeholders. A key part of the role will be to assess and manage risk to ensure the successful delivery of projects and take appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances. You will ensure that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off by Schools, Finance and Executive as appropriate.
