Salary:   £32,958 to £38,183 per annum

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated candidates for a fixed term Lectureship in Forensic Science.  The post will involve you in joining our team delivering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Forensic Science and Forensic Investigation.

We seek an individual with knowledge and experience of a range of forensic science techniques and methodologies within either a higher education setting or a professional setting; experience of fingerprint recovery and examination, analysis of other trace evidence and statistical research methodologies will be an advantage.  You will have a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching, excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a team of academic staff.

Forensic Science is a constituent of the School of Law, Policing and Forensics, a unique combination of disciplines that are ideally placed to respond to today’s justice system.  You will work closely with colleagues from academic disciplines including law, forensic science and investigation, and criminology and with others across the wider university community.
