About the Role 

An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Paramedic to join the Paramedic Teaching Team at University of Staffordshire on a fixed-term basis for 12 months covering parental leave.

The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced academic team to support the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our students. During this period, they will also gain valuable experience in learning, teaching and assessment, providing a strong foundation for a future career in education.

At the School of Health, Education, Policing & Sciences at University of Staffordshire we have an exciting portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a strong history of paramedic education. We are keen to recruit excellent lecturing staff to support our paramedic provision. You will be joining a well-established team with a wealth of experience both clinically and academically. The school is highly interdisciplinary in nature, and a great place to develop a distinctive academic portfolio.

Additional Desirable skills

•    Experience of working in primary care or advanced clinical practice.

•    Teaching in a Higher Education setting

•    Experience of research and writing for publication.
