We are looking for an enthusiastic, new staff member with a “can do attitude” to join the exciting and rapidly expanding Department of Games and Visual Effects, within The School of Computing and Digital Technologies. 

You would be expected to engage with enterprise activity, as well as developing your individual research and university research profiles. You will also be expected to contribute to engagement with schools, colleges and recruitment activities. We ensure the success of our courses through constant meaningful collaboration with the games industry, which you will be a part of.

We are looking for a candidate whose strengths lie in games engines. We are primarily looking for a person with advanced knowledge and experience in rapid prototyping and level design in UE4, but we are also interested in candidates with experience of multiple engines including Unity

Candidates for this job require a degree in a related subject and must have industrial experience or a PhD.
