We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a “can do attitude” to join the exciting and rapidly expanding Department of Games and Visual Effects, within The School of Computing and Digital Technologies. 

You would be expected to engage with enterprise activity, as well as developing your individual research and university research profiles. You will also be expected to contribute to engagement with schools, colleges and recruitment activities. We ensure the success of our courses through constant meaningful collaboration with the games industry, which you will be a part of.

We are looking for an experienced candidate in Games Programming who have demonstrable excellence in 

  • C++ and C#
  • The games development production pipeline
  • An extensive network of Games Industry contacts

The candidate will also have demonstratable excellence in one or more of the following:

  • Games Graphics
  • AI for Games
  • Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Realities
  • Multiplayer Games Programming

Candidates for this job must have Games Industry Experience or a PhD in a related subject.
