We have an opportunity available for a Personal Assistant to the Dean of Creative Arts and Engineering. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive, professional PA support service to the Dean, including the effective management of commitments, diaries and meetings, drafting correspondence on the behalf of the Dean, organising travel itineraries and liaising with key stakeholders.

You should have proven experience of providing personal assistant support and diary management at a senior level with the ability to organise complex travel and meeting schedules.

Good judgement and problem solving skills are critical for this role in order to assess and prioritise demands on the Dean’s time. 

A professional and flexible approach to work is essential, as is the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders. 

Possessing excellent organisational skills, you should also have strong administrative skills, along with experience of providing secretarial support for meetings and a high level of computer literacy. 

This role will also be responsible for the School administration office, including the line-management of other administrative staff in the School, therefore previous experience of line management is desirable for this role.
