About the role 

We're currently looking to recruit to an Evaluation Officer to help implement our evaluation strategy, to ensure we provide an excellent student experience. 

Our bold research and evaluation strategy seeks to deliver high quality evaluation for strategic projects, while also developing resources to support staff to develop their own evaluation expertise.

We want someone who is competent carrying out mixed methods evaluation approaches with experience in both quantitative and qualitative research. You will deploy surveys, conduct fieldwork and pilot innovative evaluation approaches. 

The successful postholder will be confident in report writing and presenting research and evaluation results to a wide variety of stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for generating evidence to enhance the student experience and looking to further their career in education research and evaluation. 

The post holder does not require any specific background experience or understanding of the University to be successful, but familiarity of Higher Education systems and processes would be helpful.

You will need to be technically able to self-extract and manipulate data from different systems and have good understanding of the concepts associate with these operations. You will need to be able to articulate and categorise and structure your findings for your audience and present key themes accordingly.

Key to the successful undertaking of this role is a logical, organised and methodical approach to understanding and presenting data.
