Salary:   £27,629 to £32,004 per annum pro rata
Tenure:  Part time Fixed Term to cover Maternity Leave, commencing mid June 2017, working 18.5 hours per week

We are looking to appoint a part time 0.5 FTE School based Quality Administrative Officer. The post will be a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, commencing from mid June 2017.

The role holder will be responsible for the effective co-ordination of all aspects of quality assurance across the School and will facilitate adherence to academic award regulations, under the direction of the Director of Quality Enhancement and Standards and with support from the Associate Deans and Heads of Department.

You will have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of quality assurance policies and procedures within UK higher education.  In addition, you will have effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within an organization and write a range of documents clearly, including meeting notes and committee minutes. A proven ability to effectively negotiate with, and influence, internal and external stakeholders is essential.
