            <p id="isPasted"><strong><span style="font-size: 18px;">About the role</span></strong><span style="font-size: 18px;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">University of Staffordshire (Stoke-on-Trent) has an exciting award portfolio that includes Cyber Security and Computer Science courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, each has a key focus on practical scholarship, industry relevance and employability.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">The University is keen to appoint an enthusiastic individual who will contribute to academic development in the area of Cyber Security / Computer Science. It is expected that you would have a record of research in the area (or be building one). You would be expected to have worked in delivering subjects to on-campus students, and distance learners. In addition, it is essential that you have a willingness to develop your practical and theoretical knowledge and understanding of the following areas of Cyber Security / Computer Science - to include penetration testing, ethical hacking, programming, software security, AI techniques, and cloud and network computing. The team of staff you would be joining teach and support the delivery of modules with both a practical and theoretical focus. &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will be student focused, team-oriented and flexible with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and presenting skills. Recent experience of teaching and assessing in HE in either face to face or distance learning mode is desirable, as is experience of module leadership and development.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>Main Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">The main responsibilities for this role will be to:</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">- Prepare and deliver lectures and practical classes, assessments (and undertake marking)</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">- Deliver training related to Encase, XRY and other cyber related tools</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">- Supervise student projects ranging from BSc to PhD level</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">- Contribute to the departments quality processes, and course continuous monitoring</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">- Work as an academic mentor to student groups</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">- Develop cyber related research and funding opportunities within the department</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">- Manage modules and course leader activities</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>Contact For Informal Discussion</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">&nbsp;Dr Russell Campion: r.j.campion@staffs.ac.uk</span></p>
