The KTP Associate will play a critical role in driving the development, promotion, and market adoption and strategies of POWERSOS. This role combines expertise in business and marketing strategies, project management, and platform development, requiring the ability to translate client needs and market research into actionable enhancements. The successful candidate will work closely with Midlands Power Networks Limited team and University of Staffordshire academics to guide the platform’s growth and establish its market presence.

Main Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute a strategic product development and marketing plan for POWERSOS, targeting key clients and markets.

• Utilise project management skills to coordinate POWERSOS development efforts, including gathering requirements and overseeing POWERSOS enhancements.

• Engage with prospective clients to present the POWERSOS’s features and gather feedback to guide ongoing platform development.

• Create and design promotional materials and campaigns as agreed with the management team to highlight POWERSOS benefits.

• Conduct research using industry and academic sources to inform POWERSOS development and support strategic decisions.

• Analyse reports, market trends, and competitor activities to refine POWERSOS market positioning and development roadmap.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between client needs and POWERSOS features.

• Prepare client proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage onboarding for early adopters of the platform.

• Identify and attend appropriate networking/conference/industry trade shows to elevate PowerSOS awareness and market impact.

• Other activities as the project develops that may support the successful delivery of the project.
