Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, dusting, window cleaning, and replacing consumables. Powered equipment must be used and maintained safely, with any faults reported promptly and the work must be carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations and good working practices.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">The role holder will be expected to work Monday-Friday 6AM-9AM.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>Main Responsibilities </strong></span></p><ul><li style="font-size: 18px;">Ensure all areas, including toilets and associated facilities, are kept clean and hygienic. Maintain and clean all powered and general cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in safe working condition and charged as needed</li><li style="font-size: 18px;">Report any faulty equipment, maintenance issues, or defects. Use correct cleaning materials and dilution rates, handling all products safely and cost-effectively</li><li style="font-size: 18px;">Undertake manual handling tasks as instructed and replace consumable items such as soap and toilet rolls. Unpack and store supplies as required.&nbsp;</li><li style="font-size: 18px;">Report repairs needed for equipment and allocated areas</li><li style="font-size: 18px;">Provide excellent customer care to colleagues, staff, students, and visitors. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of the finance system, ensuring its stability, integrity, performance and alignment with institutional financial processes and strategic objectives.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will act as the Finance subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion, owning system configuration, functional design, operational controls, and enhancement roadmaps. You will also be responsible for the line management of a Senior Systems Officer, providing technical direction, workload prioritisation, and professional development support.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Working closely with Digital Services, external implementation partners, and senior stakeholders, you will ensure the system is fit for purpose, scalable and fully integrated with the University&rsquo;s wider digital ecosystem.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>Main Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 18px;">The main responsibilities for our role holder will be to:</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">1. To advise and develop Oracle Fusion to exploit the systems&rsquo; functionality which involves the testing of new modules, processes and high-level problem solving.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">2. Responsible for the project management of new developments, quarterly upgrades and maintenance of Oracle Fusion.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">3. Proactively taking the lead in resolving finance systems issues and liaising with Digital Services or the software suppliers. Following up queries on a regular basis until a resolution is found.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">4. Responsible for the system control, relating to process change, systems developments and general operational matters.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">5. To maintain and manage the University and its subsidiary financial systems on a daily basis, specifically maintaining the chart of accounts and other system attributes and parameters which define how the system works.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">6. This is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover.</p><p>The post holder will manage individual student cases, ensure effective policy implementation, and act as an advocate for students alongside maintaining accurate records, preparing reports and collaborating with various departments to enhance student support and service delivery.&nbsp;</p><p>Qualified to degree level or equivalent professional qualification or experience, you&rsquo;ll have demonstrable experience of providing one-to-one advice and guidance in general and particularly in matters related to inclusion and Disability provision and support in Higher Education. Evidence of understanding the support needs of students from diverse backgrounds, cultural differences and the ability to relate well to all students are required by this post. &nbsp;The successful candidate will have a strong working understanding of the Equality Act and the implications for students with disabilities in a complex and fast paced environment.
