            <p id="isPasted">The University is seeking to appoint a Cashier to join the Financial Accounts Team within Financial Services based at College Road, Stoke-on-Trent.&nbsp;</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance function and contribute to the effective management of the University&#39;s banking and income processes.</p><p><strong>About the role&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Cashier will provide a comprehensive banking service for the University and its subsidiaries. The role involves the daily processing, input and reconciliation of monetary receipts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</p><p>The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst paying attention to detail and achieving high levels of accuracy. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of the finance system, ensuring its stability, integrity, performance and alignment with institutional financial processes and strategic objectives.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will act as the Finance subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion, owning system configuration, functional design, operational controls, and enhancement roadmaps. You will also be responsible for the line management of a Senior Systems Officer, providing technical direction, workload prioritisation, and professional development support.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">Working closely with Digital Services, external implementation partners, and senior stakeholders, you will ensure the system is fit for purpose, scalable and fully integrated with the University&rsquo;s wider digital ecosystem.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>Main Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p id="isPasted"><span style="font-size: 18px;">The main responsibilities for our role holder will be to:</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">1. This is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover.</p><p>The post holder will manage individual student cases, ensure effective policy implementation, and act as an advocate for students alongside maintaining accurate records, preparing reports and collaborating with various departments to enhance student support and service delivery.&nbsp;</p><p>Qualified to degree level or equivalent professional qualification or experience, you&rsquo;ll have demonstrable experience of providing one-to-one advice and guidance in general and particularly in matters related to inclusion and Disability provision and support in Higher Education.
