We are looking for someone with experience of learning and teaching within an educational context. The successful candidate will be passionate about the development of the education workforce and committed to delivering an outstanding student experience.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">We are seeking someone with the ability to contribute to the design and delivery of an inspiring and inclusive curriculum across our provision, and to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">The successful candidate should possess an appropriate teaching qualification alongside their postgraduate academic qualification.             <p id="isPasted"><strong><span style="font-size: 18px;">About the role</span></strong><span style="font-size: 18px;">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">University of Staffordshire (Stoke-on-Trent) has an exciting award portfolio that includes Cyber Security and Computer Science courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, each has a key focus on practical scholarship, industry relevance and employability.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">The University is keen to appoint an enthusiastic individual who will contribute to academic development in the area of Cyber Security / Computer Science. It is expected that you would have a record of research in the area (or be building one). You would be expected to have worked in delivering subjects to on-campus students, and distance learners. In addition, it is essential that you have a willingness to develop your practical and theoretical knowledge and understanding of the following areas of Cyber Security / Computer Science - to include penetration testing, ethical hacking, programming, software security, AI techniques, and cloud and network computing. The team of staff you would be joining teach and support the delivery of modules with both a practical and theoretical focus. &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 18px;">You will be student focused, team-oriented and flexible with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and presenting skills.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>About the role</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;We are looking for a highly motivated Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer to join us in delivering our exciting undergraduate and postgraduate counselling programmes. We have a well-established and popular set of counselling programmes ranging from an introduction to Basic Counselling Skills 10-week course, a Certificate in Counselling, through to our accredited Diplomas and MSc in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.&nbsp;</p><p>Applications are sought form enthusiastic, team-oriented, flexible individuals with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and presenting skills. The counselling team covers a range of counselling theoretical approaches, practice and research interests, in a team approach to teaching and learning. We are looking for a person with practice experience in integrated counselling and different therapy modalities. Experience of teaching and assessing in Higher Education is desirable, as is experience of group facilitation.&nbsp;</p><p>As a member of a team delivering teaching on professional counselling courses, we are looking for someone currently practicing as a counsellor, therapist or supervisor who is an accredited member of the BACP, engaging in regular professional development in line with ethical guidelines.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>About the role</strong>&nbsp;</p><p id="isPasted">Come and join our brilliant and friendly team! As part of the growth and development of our Clinical Psychology provision, we are looking for a highly motivated clinical psychologist lecturer to join us as Clinical Director, delivering the clinical experience element of our postgraduate programme and contributing to our high-quality research profile. The post holder will become part of a friendly, hard-working and dedicated team of academics who deliver the Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.</p><p>The University of Staffordshire Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is delivered in partnership with local clinical psychologists in Shropshire and Staffordshire. The over-arching framework for the programme is the impact of society and context on psychological well-being and there is an emphasis on prevention, early intervention, innovative practice, and the importance of critical and contextual thinking. Our service user and carer group has an important role in contributing to and influencing all aspects of programme delivery.</p><p>Applications are sought from enthusiastic, team-orientated and flexible individuals ideally with experience of working on a clinical psychology training programme and/or experience of Higher Education. However, leadership experience within an NHS/clinical role will also provide valuable skills and experience relevant to the role. Successful applicants will have a clinical psychology qualification, be registered with the Health and Care Professions&rsquo; Council and have up-to-date knowledge of clinical psychology practice. Applicants should have substantial experience of working post-qualification (minimum of five years) and have an enthusiasm for training. A track record of publications would be advantageous. &nbsp;</p><p>Pay banding equivalent to NHS Band 8c, inclusive of a Market Supplement as necessary to ensure equity of pay to NHS Banding.</p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The role involves oversight responsibility of the clinical strand of the programme but will be expected to participate in the academic and research strands as appropriate. Working directly with the clinical tutors, the post holder will be responsible for placement allocations, quality monitoring and development of the clinical experience of trainees, and co-ordination of supervisor training. There is an expectation that the post holder will also engage in research supervision of Doctoral trainees as well as teaching, relevant to the role, experience and areas of clinical expertise.</p><p>We benefit from working across the region with several organisations and agencies, including NHS, third sector, social enterprise and charitable organisations.
