1 Possession of a Postgraduate degree or equivalent professional standing in the subject area. E A
2 Demonstrable recent experience of teaching English language (TESOL) to international students in Higher Education. This should also include testing and assessment against the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) framework. E A
3 Previous experience of teaching and developing learning material for the purposes of in-sessional and pre-sessional English Language provision. E A/I
4 Previous experience of module/course design and ongoing development of the subject area. E A/I
5 Experience of providing pastoral and academic support to international students. E A/I
6 An understanding of the key issues and challenges in the HE environment in relation to international students. D I
